Who may attend?
Children from birth through their fourth birthday, attended by a parent who will take an active role in the class. One student per parent is preferred. Babysitting is available for siblings for a small fee ($5 per sibling, per class/$18 per month). Please alert us to your babysitting needs when you register.
How much does class cost?
Tuition is $63 per month.
This is a continuous-enrollment class. If you join partway through a month, your first month's tuition will be pro-rated.
There is a one-time $30 registration fee to cover your home materials for the class.
What should I expect?
Activities at each weekly class include singing, listening, clapping and moving to music, taking turns playing instruments such as the glockenspiel, xylophone, woodblock, triangle, and other percussion instruments, counting, reading a book, parent education, and story time. Throughout the class, your child will be learning the skills of how to follow directions, take turns, show leadership, count, track from left to right (developing reading readiness!), develop independence, maintain self-control, develop an inner calm, show sensitivity to others, express him/herself through music and movement, acquire focus, develop musical skills such as pitch, rhythm, dynamics, crossing the midline, and so much more!
Since we meet at an assisted living facility, your child will also learn to be comfortable interacting with senior citizens, and will have the chance to bring joy and youthful vitality to the residents who visit our class each week!

Because we move around so much in class, please wear comfortable clothing for sitting, standing, and dancing. Heartis tends to keep the temperature warm in the facility, so lightweight clothes are preferable.
